My Favourite Song At This Time Last Year - DAY 30!!!

I can't believe it! I made it! Thirty days of posting, and I didn't miss a DAY, you guys.

Source

I admit, some of those posts happened REEEEEALLY late at night...

Source

But sometimes they happened really early too!!!

Sometimes I felt like punching something... or someone...

Source
BUT NOW I'M SO FREAKIN' GLAD, YOU GUYS!!!

Because... THIS IS THE LAST POST OF THIS CHALLENGE!

Source

So, last year I was helping my brother pack, to move. I was on a real Taylor Swift kick a year ago, and this is the song I was absolutely crazy about. I listened to it all the time while I was packing.

SPARKS FLY
TAYLOR SWIFT

So, that's the final post for this challenge. I hope you enjoyed all the songs, and maybe even gained a little insight into the kind of person I am. ;)

Until I post again, God bless!

A Song I Listen To When I'm Sad - Day 22

Again, this is another instance where I'll listen to anything when I'm sad. It honestly depends on what I happen to be "in" to at the moment.

Source
(Right now I'm into Josh, but I'm really trying not to hit you up with every Josh Groban song I know. You're welcome.)

So I'm going to post a song I listened to last time I was seriously sad. This time, you get a Taylor Swift song!!! (I do confess to liking sad songs when I'm sad. Sad songs make me cry out my actual sadness. I think. Or it might make me even sadder, and I'll go to bed crying and wake up with puffy eyes. Bummer.)

Source
Anyway, this song of Taylor's is from her album, RED, and I honestly got all teary the first time I heard it. Since I"m posting a bit late, I'm going to keep this post pretty simple. No captioned pics, my friends. Sorry.

Music Recommendations from the Escapist. (That's me. :-)

Today I'm going to share MUSIC!!!

Everyone loves music. Best thing about one song too, is how short it is. A book takes a good couple of hours (at least) to finish. Same with movies. A single song can be listened to in two to six minutes. Sometimes less, sometimes more. But 'round about that much time.

So here are my recommendations!!

Featuring Music:

1.) BRAVE, BY JOSH GROBAN - Inspirational

This song is rich, inspirational, with a driving kind of sound that makes you want to be brave, even if you feel like you aren't. This song is my pick-me-up song when I'm feeling down. It's one of those, "You don't think you can get through this. You're just an ordinary person. There's nothing special about you. But don't you see, that's why you are special. You don't think you can keep going, but you do. And that makes you brave," kind of songs.

Source

I ADORE it. I like to blare it in the car and sing to it loudly. It helps make you feel oh so much better. Of course, he's got the most amazing voice too, which makes it *that* much better. :)

2.) STARLIGHT, BY TAYLOR SWIFT - Romantic

This song... well, all I can say is the second verse REALLY reminds me of me, especially if I'm the person who is getting talked to. :) And the bit where she says, "We could get married, have ten kids and teach them how to dream," well, that just made me cry. Still does, actually, if I'm in *that* kind of mood.

Source

I love the idea of dancing like you're made of starlight. This whole song kind of has a nostalgic, dreamy kind of feel, as though daring you to dream. I love it so much, you guys!

3.) CELLO WARS (STAR WARS PARODY), BY THE PIANO GUYS - Instrumental, humorous

If you have never heard of the Piano Guys, here you go. You're welcome.

Source

All of their videos are amazing. The Piano Guys mainly consists of one Piano Guy and one Cello Guy, with the Video Guy, Audio Guy, and another Video Guy occasionally making appearances. Their parodies, like this one, is hilarious, and they have an amazing talent for blending popular songs with classical songs. Give them a look on Youtube. They have two CD's available now! (I own them both. They are BRILLIANT musicians!)

-----------------------------------

So there you go. Your music for the week. I hope you enjoyed that. A little Brave, a little Starlight, a little Star Wars... something for everyone, right?

God bless!

Six-Sentence Saturday 07/21/2012

Good morning, everybody! I actually managed to sneak in my Saturday post. That's exciting. Maybe that means life is settling down at last, and I can catch up with the stuff I'm behind in.

1.) I got an AARP Membership invite in my email today. What's up with that? :-P

2.) I also got an invite to check out hot senior singles in my area. Again, what's up with that???

3.) I'm feeling old. Really old. Like, really, really old. Old as this dog. Old.

4.) Good news! I've finished editing a couple chapters in my WIP! HOOT HOOT, and all that.

5.) The thing about packing, is it leaves you kind of exhausted at the end of the day.

6.) I'm going to have ORANGE LEAF tonight! (For those of you that don't know what that is, it's a Yogurt Bar. You can choose different yogurt flavors, add your choice of fruits, nuts, or chocolate, and add hot chocolate or caramel syrup, if you so desire. YUM!)

That's all for now. Except, I think I'm feeling a bit emotional or something, 'cause this song is currently one of my top three favorites. Enjoy! (Ignore the stupid advert beforehand. Hate those. Oh well.)

God bless
