A Song I Wish I Heard On The Radio - Day 18

Source

It may be my humble opinion, but I feel the music that is played on the radio these days lacks a certain amount of sophistication. Nearly everything sounds the same, with pulsing drums, wailing lyrics, and a lot of "oh-oh-oh-ing", complete with glottal stops. You know what I'm talking about.

You don't know-oh-oh...
You don't know you're beautiful! Oh-oh,
That's what makes you beautiful!

We'll just keep dancing like we're
Twenty-twoo-oooh, ooh-oooooh!
Twenty two-oooh, ooh-oooh,
ooh-oooh ooh oooh oh
!

No one else can break my heart but
yoooou-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh ooh,
Ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh.

Radioactive! Radioactive!
Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh, Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh."
(I am allowed to make fun, because I actually like every single one of these songs. I'm simply proving a point.)

So, a song I would love to hear frequently on the radio would be...

Sourcfe

You guessed it! This beautiful, beautiful song by the inimitable Josh Groban.

Come on. You KNOW the world would be a better place if you got to hear this song more often!

I BELIEVE (WHEN I FALL IN LOVE)
JOSH GROBAN

Shattered dreams, worthless years,
Here am I encased inside a hollow shell.

Life began, then was done.
Now I stare into a cold and empty well.

The many sounds that meet our ears,
The sights our eyes behold,

Will open up our merging hearts
and feed our empty souls.

I believe when I fall in love with you
It will be forever.

I believe when I fall in love this time
It will be forever.

Without despair we will share,
And the joys of caring will not be replaced,
What has been must never end
And with the strength we have won't be erased
When the truths of love are planted firm,
They won't be hard to find,
And the words of love I speak to you
will echo in your mind.

I believe when I fall in love with you,
It will be forever.

I believe when I fall in love this time
It will be forever.

All righty! I shall try to post tomorrow's song a bit earlier than 10:30 at night. Hope you all enjoyed that. Ta, and God bless. :)

A Song I Hear Often On The Radio - Day 17

Boom boom boom... Challenge!

So, I seem to hear this song quite frequently on the radio. Luckily, I am happy to report I really do like this song, so it's not awful to hear it on the radio.

Weirdly enough, it's another Pink song... meaning, a song sung by the singer Pink. Not a song that is coloured pink.

JUST GIVE ME A REASON
P!NK

Just give me a reason, just a little bit's enough,

Just a second we're not broken, just bent,

And we can learn to love again.

It's in the stars

It's been written in the scars on our hearts.

We're not broken, just bent,

And we can learn to love again.

This is actually quite a nice song. I'm glad it comes on the radio, because it is a lovely song and I enjoy singing along with it. I hope you enjoyed it too! :)

Until tomorrow,

God bless!!
